- For Group B Posts: Level-09 of ORSP, 2017

OSSC CGLRE 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
- Minimum 21 years.
- Maximum 38 years as of 1st January 2023.
- Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SEBC/SC/ST & All Women, 10 years for PwD.
Educational Qualifications:
- Inspector of Legal Metrology, Group B
- Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Physics as one of the subjects or Technology or Engineering (OR) Diploma in Engineering + 03 years of professional experience.
- Junior Chemist, Group B
- Degree in Chemistry or relevant qualification.
- Senior Laboratory Assistant, Group B
- B.Pharma.
- Statistical Assistant, Group B
- Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with Honours in Maths/Statistics/Computer Application/Physics/Economics etc.
- Market Intelligence Inspector, Group C
- Degree in Humanities/Science/Commerce or equivalent qualification.
- Computer Programmer, Group C
- Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or an equivalent degree with PGDCA.
Other Eligibility:
- Must have passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as the language subject (OR).
- Must have passed the HSC Examination or an equivalent examination with Odia as the Medium of examination in non-language subject (OR).
- Must have passed in Odia as the language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a school or educational institution recognized by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt. (OR).
- Must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha.
OSSC CGLRE 2024 Selection Process:
- Stage I: Preliminary Written Examination (150 Marks)
- Stage 2: Main Written Examination (200 Marks), Computer Skill Test (If required)
- Stage 3: Certificate Verification

- Eligible candidates should apply online through the Odisha OSSC Online Application Portal (www.ossc.gov.in).
- If applying for the first time, applicants should commence by selecting the “NEW USER” button displayed on the screen.
- After submitting the registration form, a User ID and Password will be generated.
- Whether choosing “New User” or “Registered User,” instructions for completing the Online Registration/Re-registration and Application Forms will be provided on the computer screen. It is essential to carefully review these instructions before proceeding with the Application Form.
